Gear Review: Gregory Deva (w) 60l

Gregory Deva 60l Women's specific pack 8.5/10
This pack from Gregory ain't the lightest (2.35kg) and it's certainly not the cheapest (£180), but that's because they've not compromised on comfort with probably the most comfortable hip belt ever, excellent back support, women specific adjustments and a narrow fitting back so that it doesn't dig into your shoulders and carries weight really well if you've got a smaller frame.  It's a precurved harness and an 'intuitive response' system so that the weight moves with you and doesn't pull you over.  After fitting many a pack I can safely say this is the easiest to sell (if the customer has the funds) because it is (comfort wise) head and shoulders above many others.  It also has 3 access points which makes it a lot easier to find your gear, rather than purely top-loading and the ripstop denier is very hard-wearing, it's also an attractive pack with a good stash pouch and a lid that turns into a bum bag.  The zips are highly water-resistant so you don't need to have that 'rattling in the wind' pack cover, just plump for a lightweight packliner and a dry bag for the lid and your sorted (which you should have in any pack anyway).
